About

Hi!  I’m Emma. I am working to get a PhD in Health Policy.  Before that I worked at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the Department of Health and Human Services. I love budgets and Medicaid and those are a few things I worked on in my four years with the government. Before joining the federal service I worked at the Center for American Progress and the Ways and Means Health Subcommittee.  I really like centers.  I am originally from California and have strong feelings about the state’s beauty and brilliant residents.  This year, I started my 21st year of school in year one of five for the PhD at Harvard. I previously attended UC San Diego for undergraduate and the George Washington University for my Masters in Public Health. Follow me on twitter.

  1. Ms. Sandoe I read your name in a PBS report on the State of Maine election to expand Medicare. I recently retired and moved from Florida to Idaho. As you probably know Idaho is attempting to have a Medicare ballot initiative. I am not directly involved in that effort by Reclaim Idaho but am involved with the Democratic Party in Northern Idaho. I am interested in any reference sources you could suggest that deal specifically with the benefits the expansion would create and who actually benefits. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I have a blog through WordPress and will try to locate yours where this info may already be available.
